At Ultra 4X4 we are all about 4×4’s off road!
We are an established company that has been running for now over 27 years.
To start with we think it is fair to say, we have the best 4X4 off road sites in the UK based in mid Wales, North Wales and Shropshire.
Our sites vary in size, terrain and features. And most of our terrain is non damaging to the vehicles to a few which are almost impossible to accomplish, and can present extreme challanges.
And in North Wales we are located by some of the biggest and most exquisite mountain ranges.
At Ultra 4X4 we deliver British Off-Road Driving Association (BORDA) courses on our accredited site which carries IOPD certification.
British Off Road Driving Association- BORDA
BORDA (British Off-Road Driving Association) is the UK’s only professional association dedicated to Off-Road Driving at authorised venues throughout the UK.
Additionally at BORDA, they also have industry Leading Codes of Practice, and as a result they also have a rigorous accreditation programs for all sites, supervisors, and trainers, and lastly they have a reputation for high standards and they are also authorised by the IOPD.
Who are the IOPD?
The International Organisation of Professional Drivers who are empowered by statute 1371, and authorised by the Secretary of State for the Regulation of Off-Highway Auto Events including Training and Health and Safety
Why Off Road Driving Requires PUWER.
Introduced by HSE in 1998, PUWER is the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations. Work equipment now includes 4X4’s.
Companies also have legal requirement driving off the highway under the PUWER regulations.
